Rules for Abstract Submission for the 12th PTKT Congress in Kraków: May 26-28, 2025
General Provisions
During the PTKT Congress, the organizers will provide scientific sessions allowing doctors and researchers to present their work aligned with the theme of the Congress:
a) Oral Session for Young Scientists – this involves presenting a paper with a slide presentation (7 minutes + 3 minutes of discussion). The first author, who must also be the presenter, should be a doctor in training for cardiothoracic surgery, under the age of 35. The best works will be selected for presentation during the plenary session. After the presentation, the committee will designate works to be FINANCIALLY AWARDED.
b) Poster Session – involves preparing a poster in the format specified by the organizer. There are no age restrictions for authors. The best posters will also receive FINANCIAL AWARDS.
The organizers invite you to submit an abstract of your work for review, and after successful verification, present it during the Congress.
The organizers will decide on the acceptance of the work for presentation, its format, and the timing of the presentation.
By participating in collaboration with the organizers as indicated above, each author of a work:
a) Consents to the printing or other forms of publication of the submitted abstract in the materials and supplements issued for the Congress and, therefore, agrees to the publication of the authors’ names and affiliations.
b) Confirms that all authors of the abstract agree with the content and conclusions presented in the submitted abstract, and that it is an original work that does not violate the copyright of others.
